Giovani Glass staircases come pre-finished, regardless of whether a painted, clear lacquer or bespoke stain is preferred. A full painted finish is available or you can opt for a combination of painted spindles and oak or sapele handrail which not only looks striking but also improves the durability of the handrail as no paint is required which could be chipped or scratched by rings, watches or bracelets over the forthcoming years.
The contrasting warm tones of sapele, a sustainable alternative to mahogany, with brilliant white painted spindles (pictured below) is not only beautiful but provides a period feel with the continuous volute handrail and ball newel caps adding a touch of grandeur.
